Gionee Announced P4S, P6, V6L LTE and P5L LTE

Gionee has launched two new LTE-enabled smartphones in India – the Gionee P5L LTE and Gionee V6L LTE, priced at Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 15,000 respectively. The smartphones are compatible with India’s 4G LTE frequencies. Alongside, the company also unveiled Gionee P4S and Gionee P6 smartphones, but hasn’t detailed full specifications or pricing.

The dual-SIM Gionee P5L LTE runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and features a 4.7-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor coupled with an ARM Mali 400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD (up to 128GB).
The Gionee P5L LTE sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 2-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard. On the connectivity front, the Gionee P5L LTE includes 4G LTE (compatible with India’s 4G bands), 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio and Bluetooth 4.0. The smartphone packs an 1800mAh battery.
The Gionee V6L LTE features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and supports dual-SIM with standby.
Gionee V6L LTE smartphone comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD (up to 128GB). The primary rear camera on Gionee V6L LTE is of 8-megapixel with LED flash and there is a front 5-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard. On the connectivity front, the Gionee V6L LTE includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio and Bluetooth 4.0. The smartphone packs a 1950mAh battery.

The Chinese smartphone maker also unveiled Gionee P4S and Gionee P6 smartphones, though it did not reveal detailed specifications or pricing. The company only said that Gionee P4S will feature a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) display, and the Gionee P6 will come with a 5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) display.
