Before I go into the details, I ''PROMISED'' wickedleak that I will take down my so called flaming comments before they give me my money back. The company 'PROMISED'' that they will deliver the phone within 4-5 days on the order page The company 'PROMISED'' that they had dispatched the product. The company 'PROMISED'' that the product was with gojavas, gave me a false docket number to track. The company 'PROMISED'' a refund within 3 working days when I found out their lies and threatened them with consumer court cases.When the so called company never kept up any of their so called ''PROMISES'', the why should I? Anyway, I will not waste your time with words. I will provide you all a timeline of events (for most of which I have e-mail proofs or voice recordings) and I will leave you to draw your own conclusions. 12 september 2014 – Wickedleak account created. 14 september 2014 – Wickedleak.org payment succesful confirmation received on email. 14 september 2014 – Order confirmation email with order number received for w.wammy.note3 15 september 2014 – I get a call from wickedleak confirming the order. I was happy that someone had called me and confirmed telephonically from their end. 19 september 2014 – The order page had said product was in stock and in few working days product will be delivered. So after a gap of few days I call customer care. I am told that the product was in "PREORDER" phase when I ordered and it will take time for despatch. I ask them how could a product that has already been lauched be in preorder? And the website never mentioned preoorder when I paid. Anyhow to cut a long story short, They said It will be dispatched next week, so I believed and hung up the phone. 22 september 2014 – I called and they say product has been dispatched and will reach me in 3 days. I was extremely happy. 25 september 2014 – I called again saying the product was not received by me. They maintain that product has been dispatched on thursday and it will reach me in 3-4 working days (On monday when I had called they had said It had already been dispatched) . I get doubtful and ask for the shipment tracking details, and they say they will send a mail by 4.00 pm with the details. 26 september 2014 – No mails, repeated calls to them. I get the standard reply, product dispatched, docket number will be sent to you by mail by 4.00 pm 27, 29 september 2014 – Close to 5,6 calls each day to customer care, Wickedleak. I receive a fake docket number of some 5000-6000 rs wickedleak phone of one Mr.Arumugam in Chennai (My name in Navin, and I'm from Chennai as well). I lose my temper and call and royally blast customer care . I ask for a refund. No one there knew what their refund policy was or they were unwilling to tell me. After much anger and exchange of words, they finally say I have to submit a mail and money will be refunded in 3-4 working days. 30 september 2014 – I send a mail asking for refund, and I get an automated reply mail saying my request has been received – mail correctly sent.
1 to 8 october 2014 – I call them atleast three times a day asking for the money, They acknowledge that the refund process has been initiated on october 1. Beyond that, I get evasive answers. 9 October 2014 – I receive a mail saying they are “Expediting” my refund process. 14 october 2014 – I receive a mail saying my money has been refunded. I was quite confused as my card or my bank had not received the money yet. I call them and they say it has been sent from their side and I will receive it. I ask them for transaction details, reference ID of the payment etc, I get evasive answers. I am adviced that I do not know credit card procedures and the amount will refect only in my next billing cycle. I politely but firmly tell them that I am no idiot and I can check my unbilled card transactions on a mobile app in real time, and I have positively not received the money.
15-16 october 2014 – After berating them daily twice or thrice about my refund, the irate customer care guy tells me, sir you are supposed to remove your derogatory comments on all websites. I ask him pointedly, are you trying to tell me that I will get my refund only if I remove the comments? And he doesn’t reply, perhaps he had an inkling that the conversation was recorded (I was recording it). I “PROMISE” that I will definitely remove the comments once the money is refunded. The customer care guy in his over enthusiasm sends me a snapshot of his system screen as a mail attachment to prove they had refunded, I find in the refund column mine still shows up as ‘processing’, not ‘processed’, and there is no transaction / reference ID as well.
18 october 2014 – again many calls, eventually he sends me another snapshot, in this it says ‘processed’ from their end with a reference ID.
After another two harrowing days, I finally get the money in my occount on 20 October 2014.
I leave it to you to decide on the trustworthiness and integrity of this Wickedleak. Again, I have no animosity against this company in a business sense neither am i doing it on behalf of other smartphone manufacturers. Am a doctor by profession. I can be reached for comments at 9442619977.
