Karbonn Titanium S6 full phone specification with full HD (1080p) display

ooks like Karbonn wants a piece of the 1080p pie too. After Micromax teased their Canvas 4 smartphone, which will go on pre-order from June 28 and will most likely have a full HD display, chief rival Karbonn has also announced its intentions to launch a new flagship.

The company told  that the Karbonn Titanium S6 will be launched in the second week of July and more importantly it will have a price tag of under Rs 20,000. The S6 will ship with Android Jelly Bean (either 4.1 or 4.2) and will come with a stylus, like the Galaxy Note series. Instead of going for a MediaTek chip, Karbonn said the S6 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC; however, there’s no mention of which processor and GPU combination it is likely to be.

Will the S6 follow the Titanium S5’s design?

Karbonn would want to eat into Micromax’s share in the market, so a price tag of under Rs 20,000 would suit them just fine. Our sources have told us that the upcoming Canvas 4 will be priced between Rs 18000 and Rs 20,000. And the Canvas 4 is expected to have similar specs to the Titanium S6, so it could boil down, as it often does, to a price battle.

Karbonn and Micromax are following the announcement of two other low-cost smartphones with 1080p display. The WickedLeak Wammy Desire Z and the Lemon A4 have both been launched recently. So it looks like the market for Indian 1080p smartphones is just heating up.–>
